Mantra

Mantra's 2008 season started strong at the MLK Tournament in Philadelphia. The team went undefeated on Saturday, including a come-from-behind win over Liberty Belles in game 2, where Mantra recovered from a 5-16 deficit, winning the game 25-23.

The team's Day 1 success carried over to Day 2, as Mantra took the #1 seed and again went undefeated, going 3-0 on Sunday. Mantra started playoff day Monday with a first round bye. The first match of play-offs didn't go as they would have liked, as Mantra lost to JAVA in the quarter finals.

Overall, it was a great start to the 2008 season!
