Volley FX Mystery came home with Gold on Sunday, May 3rd from the NFVB Mayhem tournament. The girls lost only one set in the first pool play. They went on to finish the 2nd round of pool play undefeated. Sunday morning, they returned to St. Mary's of Lancaster looking for gold. They won the semi-final match against NFVB White in three sets. In the finals, Mystery lost the first set to Onondaga 18-25. However, Mystery came back strong winning the next set, forcing a tie breaker. Onondaga started the third set on fire, building a 14-9 lead. The girls never gave up on themselves or their team mates, they fought back to win 16-14. They were victorious, bringing home the gold. Strong serving, a solid defense, and consistent hitting kept Mystery on top. Congratulations Girls and Coaches!!
