Another great year, and another great tournament. With about a dozen alumni showing up and more than 90 club players participating, Abracadabra 2 was a huge hit.

After 2 rounds of play, and play-offs the team that pulled it together and won an exciting final was:

Coach Laura Grell rallied the troops and ensured that fun was had by all. "We really had a fun day, it was wonderful to meet different players and parents. Winning wasn't our only goal, but still it made a great day even more special."

On the other side of the bracket was the team that came in 9th... out of nine teams - Merlin. Coached by Magic Coach Rob Werkmeister, the team set an Abracadabra Day record with ZERO game wins. The roster was:

"It was a fun day... for the most part," said Junior standout Lindsey Schlegel. "The girls are great, it was really fun to meet other club members, and the alumni are awesome for coming back and playing and sharing their experiences with us. I really just wish that our coach was better, it is mostly his fault that we didn't win."

Maybe next year Lindsey.

Closing out the day was an alumni panel with former players providing insight, direction and fielding questions on college, their club experiences, and recommendations for current players. The panel consisted of:
