Turner walking the plank... all the way to Carolina!
We are happy to announce that Stephanie Turner is taking ship as a Pirate. Steph, of Magic (18-1) gave her verbal commitment to East Carolina University this week. East Carolina is a Conference USA member with head coach Chris Rushing leading the team for his first season. It may be his first year at ECU, but Rushing brings a great amount of experience to the program. Most recently, he was the head coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin but also has experience as a player and assistant coach at Brigham Young University. ECU is looking to Steph to instantly impact the team with her quick and explosive play on the outside and rightside, and to be a key building block in growing the program in the conference.

Steph's commitment comes as no surprise as she loves the Carolina's, wanted to play at a competitive level and really enjoyed her visit and camp with the coaches and the team.
