Leah Hill, a Magic (18-1) standout, is staking ground and making claim to land in Washington, DC. Leah, hopped on a plane early this morning and flew to George Washington University to verbally commit in person to being a Colonial in 2007. The Wayne Central Junior was courted by many as an outside hitter, thanks to her undying focus, passion for the game and amazing physical abilities.

"I knew that I hoped for 3 things in a school - great academics with a stimulating environment, a competitive team that I can contribute to, and coaches that were passionate and inspiring." Leah said by phone early this morning. "I KNEW that GW offered me all of that and more. It is the perfect match for me."

GW is a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, and is coached by Jojit (Joe) Coronel who will be entering his 7th year with the team.

Nice job Leah, and congrats!
